Indian scammer called saying there have been charges of over £1500 on a debit card that I do not have, waisted 50 mins of my time playing along, when I told him I have over £235,000 in a saving account plus another £53,000 in other accounts he gave me this number to call, I said I will call them in a hour as I have a Doctors appointment.
Some have said possibly 02 call centre - would have thought they would have a bit of respect at this time, especially on a weekend. I have had two calls 8th & 10th Sept. - Advice is to never answer calls unless number known to yourselves.

This caller left a recorded message to say "to find out more about this case before we proceed to legal action press 1". If you press 1 you just get a repeat of the message. For the elderly like me this is quite frightening.

Indian lady with call centre background noise called, she said she was from carphone warehouse. And gave me a iphone 15 max deal with unlimited Internet and calls for £18. I have signed up, she took my credit card and bank details. She said she'll get the phone delivered today...I'm not sure if this was a real or fake because i can't see any such offers today.

Scammer/Junk: Said he was from EE and said they had a 35% discount, which is odd because I had just upgraded with EE. Then asked me how much I paid on my last bill, to which I said 'well if you are EE you should know' - Upon which he got sheepish and hung up. Caller ID says it is from Bodmin. This is not someone from EE yet are touting themselves as if they are, as such this is fraud.

Seriously I consider ALL of these calls Dangerous, each and every one of them are lowlife robbers so how can they be anything less than dangerous ? A SCAM - be very careful as the person on the phone will try to get you to download a programme called "anydesk.com" which gives remote access to your computer. In my case the person said he was from SKY and was checking on my report on bad internet signal (that part was true). He took me through a few dialogue boxes (thankfully I knew that I was not changing settings). He then tried to get me to download the programme. Thankfully I questioned it. He hung up. The number he called from was 02036

Did not identify themselves on the message but it was about an international money transfer on a debit of credit card. told to press 1 to cancel or 2 to speak to an advisor. I treated this as a phishing call, ignored the instruction and blocked the number.
