A lady called to offer monthly savings on landline & broadband. I said I would accept details by email but she was insistent upon a 'home visit' and that they 'didn't have any materials she could send'. I've had nuisance calls like this before and they are all quite aggressive in their marketing approach and offer products or potential savings that are contract based and wholly useless.

This number seems to be used for a classical telemarketing, or it is a directly some general call centre. They usually work for some third company and call with offer of some goods or services for the actual company they were hired for. In this case the number is mostly reported in connection with Three Mobile, could be also calling in the name of another telco operator... Just a call centre.
