SCAM / SPAM Indian accent man answered phone when I called back for the missed call. When I said let me verify this number, he said HM revenue officers will be at my door to arrest me. What idiots. Be careful people, do not give any information.

SCAMI had a phone call from 0800 4643050 saying they were from Nationwide, using my name, calling me about potential fraudulent activity on an account. They were very good, very believable, and spend about 30min going through possible fraudulent transactions before asking me for any personal information. When they did I said I wanted to ring through independently to ensure it wasn't a scam. They said I could google the number and see it was a genuine number. Just been called on my land line by a woman with Indian accent. As soon as she mentioned accident I told her I wasn t in one and that I would be hanging up, which I did.
pretended they were from amazon asking about my account renewing and money being taken from my bank
finance company. very aggressive wont take no for an answer. politely asked them to remove my number and she said she wont and i will recieve the calls again in future. passed the number to the police for harassment. block this number at all costs
