The gentleman (not) who called asked if it was me. I asked what was the call regarding... He asked for my name again... Again, I asked what was the call regarding... He responded, "would you FUCK OFF!" I cut off the call and blocked the number...!

Received 4 calls on my cell in Benelux within 2 minutes; this is part of a practise that started on 13/2: since then I received about 60 odd calls from similar +44 numbers. The first one or 2 I picked up and people claim I registered with credit card for online consultancy, related to financial investments. After that I categorically block all these calls. I can produce a list of these numbers

I have a car for sale and someone called me saying he would be interested in the car, after I said it was no longer for sale, he started threatening me to pay him 100 pounds for the gas and the trouble. I want to clarify that I had just given him the 5 minute postcode and he should have come to see the car in about 5 hours when I was free.
Caller claimed to be from a charity which teaches English as a foreign language to impoverished populations and wanted to recruit me as a volunteer to have conversations with students - quote "they may ask you questions about your life" so I believe a long con to gain information about my identity. I asked where they got my number from and the caller pushed a button to play a recording of him stating it was because I'd shared my number with some sustainable homes organisation. 01482 293843 called me several times. I called back and got an automated message saying welcome to Vodafone all of our operators are busy right now please hold blah blah blah... I hung up. My broadband contract has just ended with Vodafone and I already renewed it with them on a social tariff. Maybe the call was connected to that. I saved the number to contacts so the name will come up if they call again and I'll answer it to find out. Like many I don't answer withheld numbers or numbers I don't recognise.

07468578922 Called this morning purporting to be from 3 Mobile wanting to speak to me about my contract. I’m not with 3 Mobile and the caller's number isn’t either (it registered to a Chinese network). When I tried to question the caller they swiftly terminated the call. Suspected scam.

Called on Bank Holiday monday 19/9/22 mid afternoon, I did not answer as they rang my private mobile, phone only rang three times then stopped. Do not recognise number, googled tel. no. but nothing found.
Calls from 0115-677-5963 are a Scam! If ever you don't recognise the number, DON'T SPEAK & JUST LISTEN! If you don't hear anyone and after a short pause the line goes dead, then congratulations you've just successfully escaped being scammed! This is because it was a computer calling trying to establish if your number was in use and if a voiceline. If you'd spoken, your number would be logged as a voiceline and some clever con-artist would then be phoning you later.
Claimed to be from Amazon and that someone had attempted to purchase about £500 of goods on my account. I hung up, put the number on my BT blacklist and checked my Amazon account which was OK.
