02045797441 called twice today.8Jun23 First at 11.27hrs, heavily accented voice claimed to be calling from BT about my internet connection, I think! hung up. This a number scammers give you to call for bank fraud. It's a call to another scammer who will then proceed to try to rob you by getting you to buy gift cards for them, they will "open a secure account" fur you and get you to transfer big money into it, or send cash wrapped in foil to some random address to "secure your bank" there's no one you can report this to as its a spoofed number. I think this is a scam number. Recorded American accent saying HMRC and that a fine would be implemented and to press 1 to speak to someone. Obviously I didn’t, line then went dead !!

SPAM this number has called 5 times today I have never answered the call and they never leave a message on the answer machine which means they are not genuine.

I think this is a loft insulation scam (poor phone line). Female, ?middle-aged? voice, southern accent. Mentioned British Lung Foundation, Perhaps said that some loft insulation is [harmful]. I just repeated that I can't afford it ; caller talked over me then terminated the call.........

I rang the number back it’s about PPI saying I had money back in 2019 I told the lady I didn’t receive any money and to remove me from their database She started to raise her voice asking why would they do that when I had received money! Phone today 27/07 purporting to being doing a survey. Assumed I was a tenant and that I needed repairs doing on my property. When I asked if they were giving me money to make repairs on my property she became flustered and said sorry they were only speaking to tenants and ended call. Sounded like a young asian woman with call centre noises in background.
