THIS IS A PHISHING SCAM! It was the contact number on a scam email supposedly from 'Kaspersky Total Security', (number given as +???????? (????????????) ????????????-????????????????) email said Kaspersky "sent you an invoice for £539.10 GBP". I am not, and never have been, a customer of Kaspersky, so this was obviously a SCAM! DO NOT CLICK ON THE LINK "VIEW AND PAY INVOICE"!!
Claimed to be from O2 and that I was overpaying for my O2 account (I don't use O2). Told me they would offer me a discount with no other changes to be made. Wanted to send a verification number that I was not to share with anyone else "even 02 staff". Hung up when they realised I wasn't falling for it - I strung them along for at least a few minutes.
The caller said she was from O2 and We were due for a free gift of Wireless Headphones as a security what was my place of birth. I found out that the fraudsters had chaned my password by going on the O2 website and requesting a 6 digit number and asking me to give it to them.. I don't thimk I have suffered losses . I obviously reset my password. The caller was an Indian female, this is not unusual as, Indian Call Centres are experts in fraud I have been involved in investigating Indian call centre.

Fraud This number is being used in an attempted fraud. I received a letter purporting to come from Lloyds Bank referring to a conversation that had not taken place and asking me to complete and sign a form giving details of my back account, sort code and memorable wo. The letter looks genuine, uses a genuine Lloyds address and gives this number to call with questions.

They called claiming to be 3 Mobile and wanted me to upgrade to a new contract when I only just renewed my contract with the real 3 Mobile a couple of months back and my existing contract is locked for another 10 months. When I asked the idiot to email me the offer to review, they asked me for my email address and if they were really 3 Mobile they would already have it in their records. Does anybody recognise this, suspect, phone number, 02392379223, from which I received an automated call earlier this morning? The ‘female’ speaking voice, claimed to be from ‘AMAZON’, and wanted me to give, account, details. Needless to say , I hung up and did a ‘Who called me’ phone number search, which showed it was from the Portsmouth area, I wasn’t aware that AMAZON was based in the UK, let alone Portsmouth. All I can say is…….. BE WARNED!

Persistant phone calls from this number every day for the past week. Answered it today thinking it could be someone important, turns out to be company who provide free boiler upgrade ? There is a high availability in your area. Man seemed arrogant abrasive, talking over me. Told him wasn’t interested, avoid at all costs, scam.
Possible HMRC scam
I was trying to activate a phone on my company network and after working with Verizon and the phone started initializing it came up with this phone number which is 1/2 way around the world for Bribane. Verizon still working on figuring it out. Not sure how this phone number was hijacked to a phone number so far away from my location and mysteriously changed numbers. The phone number on the account has been on my account for 25 years now.
