SCAM Call from this number said she was from Carphone Warehouse. Asked why she was calling, some rubbish about a deal on a new phone. When asked how she got my number since I've never had dealings with 02084291383 i was told my number was on her database...asked 'what database'...she has a database from all network providers. SCAM Message popped up on my laptop stating that it was in danger of being hacked and had been temporarily blocked. The error message suggested I called a helpline (number stated 020) said to be Microsoft Security. I rang, lady answered (Indian/pakistan accent) lots of noise in the background, she wanted me to depress the windows and the letter R key on my laptop. was evasive when I asked what would happen. Sales call, said were from O2. When asked how she had obtained my number, she was evasive. Asian accent, so thought it was from overseas. I am subscribed to the telephone preference service, so should not be getting marketing or sales calls. I cut them off and blocked.

SCAM This number called on my land line with a recoded message stating that my internet was to be cut off within the next 24 to 48 hours because of illegal activity. If I needed to speak to an executive manager I instructed to press 1 on my handset. The internet was not cut off nor has been interrupted. This is a scam.
