07956 099273 - called me today, totally a scammer, talked absolute rubbish about things being blocked on her system. Any questions I asked were not answered and she even used a swearword. So a rubbish scammer, but a scammer nevertheless. So be careful!

Silent call. Received a call from (07458 148209) on my mobile, although very few people know my mobile number. When I managed to answer there was nothing to be heard from the caller's end so I assumed it was some dodgy scammer. Caller claimed to be from Amazon regarding a subscription charge for their Prime service valued at £199. Then asked me to press 1 if I needed to speak with an service colleague. I didn’t respond and have blocked the number.

SCAM Claims to be from O2 and sends texts messages during the call requesting that you tell the caller the code that is in the message for a 40% discount. An obvious scam, reported to NCSC and O2 as it looks like they’re trying to scam users into giving O2 account passcodes which is fraud. Kept her talking long enough for her to become quite rude and call me a liar, I’m not even with O2 so not sure why they’d target me, certainly not an O2 employee anyway.
