windows problem scam

David called regarding cavity wall insulation and hung up when I told him my house doesn t have cavity walls.

Vanquis bank hastling calls via local numbers to agrresivly and sneakily trying to call you when you may be close to paying .... NOTE this is a form of harrasment by this bank and not tollerated by judge if found to be of an itimidating nature

Polite British accented woman responded, informing me she was from some hearing company - she knew my name and asked me if I had ever worked in an industry that involved loud noise. I responded saying that I have never worked in an environment that affected my hearing. She then asked what industry I have worked in. Impersonating a police officer is actually a criminal offence. Reckons I was caught using my phone by static camera, told him where to go and suggested he uses local officers to knock on my door. Now blocked.

So far I ve received two calls from this number within 24hrs after an online enquiry for broadband & phone with EE. I was just "shopping around" for a better deal. I don t think I ll bother to look any further now if this is what s going to happen as a result, with endless and unauthorised telesales calls. Had a call from this number. They did not leave a message.

Said he was from an IT company that I had used recently, when I asked where he got my number from overrode my questions saying he had got it from a database and continued saying I had used one of there services recently. Told him my number was on TPF and he replied not interested and it didn t concern him what I was on. Very aggressive male caller refusing to listen. ended up telling him (very rudely) to go away and hung up
