Scam call claiming to be from "your bank" re a large (non-existent) credit payment

this number is a spofer ""Danger!!!" He say`s the name Mary Richard Marns

CarPhone warehouse Leak Data - promising iPhone 14 / 2 TB data / £ 30 per month - 50% offf.. etc,. etc. Crap scammy lies... they got upset when I said I was on Orange... ;-)

Two calls from this number with a recorded voice message claiming £700 has been drawn on our account to Amazon and further £2000 cash transfer, then a couple of number options to press to speak to someone. Needless to say, I hung up. Yet another time-wasting and potentially dangerous scam.

SCAM He said he was calling from 3, in their promotions department. He was given my number and not my details as he was only in the promotions department. I'm not with 3. He asked me to confirm I was the account holder by providing my personal details. I refused. SCAM

Called yesterday but left no message. Called again today but silence when I picked up. Looked number up on several sites - indications that it is an energy related scam with initial calls to check that your landline is live.

Claimed to be EE, highly doubtful, didn't know my name which EE would. Caller had very strong Indian accent, everytime I've spoken to EE they've had UK based centres, also when questioned about call origin she wasn't sure where call was routed from...very suspicious Definitely seemed very scam-like

Rang up asking if Id just bought an iphone, and then asked for a one time password that had just been texted to me from Amazon so that they could cancel the transaction. Blocked the scammer.

After applying for a loan this company rang me multiple times a day i asked them to call me back after 6pm the first time as i was working and did want to see if they could help me but the I had 7 calls off the in 3 hours NOT one after the time I said I could answer, the following day the same company different number rang me 13 times between 10 am and 4:30 pm so i blocked those numbers, the following day i had a further 14 missed calls from this company off another 5 numbers. So far I am I up to 14 number

Scam call pretending to be your bank

Called from Citizens advice group. I questioned the male caller with a south Asian accent in some detail. He was very helpful. They were calling about debts and he asked what debts we had. I asked him where they got our number and he replied FCA ????????????. I then asked him for the person or department name as I have previously worked with FCA in the past, he didn’t give it to me. He was very polite and said he couldn’t continue. He also said they weren’t authorised in the UK!

I have a Sky and 02 contract, different phones. I had a call from this number purporting to be 02 on my Sky phone; took me a while to realise! Offered me a 45% discount on my bill for 2 years with no catches??? Spoke in an Indian accent, very fast, so not easy to understand. Asked for my full name, which I queried as he was supposed to have my account records. However, not giving anything away, I did so but he misspelled everything. SCAM Beware! . . . . . A robotic message claiming to be from Amazon concerning an overdue payment for Prime services. I have never had Prime and I know that Amazon would not contact me in this manner. The message used a phone number local to my area, so I suspect that someone, somewhere has set up this number as a relay station.

Communication by post to say URGENT YOUR REGISTERED PHARMACY IS CLOSING? Wrong - it's not closing. Treat with caution. Telephone Number is registered to Beaufoy Chemical Products Ltd in Gosport, Hampshire.
