Had a call from them today. Asked me for readings from meters. Don't know what kind of scam it is but when I told him that I do not trust such phone calls and I would expect them to send me a letter or email with an explanation he sounded puzzled. Did not say thank you or sorry. Definitely scam.
Called three times the past couple of days - so far. Claims to be Windows Technical Department and does not like it when I tell him to GET LOST.

SCAM Call from Annie DeSouza - claimed my BT internet connection had been hacked. When asked for details was referred to her supervisoor Aran, who got increasingly short with me, then wanted to take control of my computer to show me. Apparently my connection will be cut in 1 hour. Put the phone down on him.

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 2036346xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with direct marketing, insurance marketing, accident claims. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new? I really don't answer unknown numbers and don't want to call them back...

Just called this number for you Jane. It's 100% safe It's somebody called Jimmy. He says he was trying to contact you in regards to your finances apparently he has good advice. He says please contact him a.s.a.p. seems like a nice bloke he has a strange voice tho.
Computer voice claiming item not delivered and returned to hmrc, not likely. My opinion, scam.
