Fraud, automated message claiming to be calling from bank saying they stopped transaction to western union.
Fraud Call was recorded message purporting to be from Amazon and saying that payent of £399 had been taken for my order, if I did not authorise this press 1. So hung up, so obviously a fraud. Caller ID on phone showed a local geographical number, most likely that this was fake. Telecoms companies should have a way of identifying the origin of these calls and should really address this lawbreaking, ie conspiracy to commit fraud.
SCAM - caller made no sense, said it was a health survey report but would not explain what they meant, when I asked what they were talking about the caller said it's an industrial health report, I then told the caller I had no idea what he was talking about...his reply was that Covid is a very serious matter and the pandemic is affecting the world, my reply was that I am very much aware of what Covid is but no idea what he is talking about and why he called me - he then hung up

This number left a txt message at 10:40, saying “PostOffice: Sorry we missed you today at 8:05 AM on 15/09. Please schedule a redelivery for your parcel via https;//redelivered-depot.com “ I have copied the message to the letter. I was up at 8:05 so would definitely have heard the doorbell if it had been rung. Why did the message take 2 1/2 hrs to be sent, I tried the link, but it doesn’t work. So I don’t know whether there is a parcel or not? Map shows dot in middle of a field nr Clitheroe. Worrying.

Clearly, that would instigate and expensive return call… Plus they woke my 86 year old Mother who is very ill from her afternoon sleep.
