Asian accent with poor English, said he was from BT and there was a fault with our internet.I told him he was lying (politely) and hung uo on him. He rang back an hour later, so I just hung up.

They have taken £39.99 from my account and still waiting for my loan which I know now wont arrive. My advise to people is to cancel your bank card at your bank stating the reason for cancellation as this loan company may take further funds. You will then receive a new bank card which will stop them from taking further funds. Received an automated call from this number purporting to represent my credit card (no name mentioned, no bank name mentioned) saying that it had been used twice, once on Amazon, and for a foreign currency transaction. Press 1 for security, 2 for customer services. SUSPECT FRAUD!!

The call is annoying. When the phone rings and goes to the answer all that is heard is white noise. The situation is such that we let all calls go the answer machine with the view that the call is for us they will leave a message

SCAM Automated Call from DWP stating my National Insurance Number had been used for fraud... After being placed in a que, an Indian Woman asked me what I wanted and I said You called me she said she hadn't... Wouldn't or couldn't confirm my NINO, Name, DOB or Benefit Type... Due to the fact I took her off script by asking why their automated system had called me, she hung-up.. If this was the DWP, very unprofessional and at least try and sound convincing...

This is FPC or Fredpay.com. They are a collection agency who normally act on behalf of Vodafone. They ask for your name , date of birth, post code etc. to confirm your identity. Simply dont give it to them and they cant continue the conversation !
