A real person calling claiming to act on behalf of an insurance company, interested in an RTA that I was involved in within the last three years that wasn't my fault. Did not know the branch he was working from and was pretty adamant to get card info to enroll for the so called promotion but I had already picked up that it was a scam so no information was provided.

SCAM - Tried to convince me that they were calling on behalf of a government debt consolidation scheme. When I said I wanted to check the validity of the company, they tried to convince me that they were genuine. I pointed out to them that any genuine company would be fine for their customers to do due diligence and that the fact they were trying to stop me doing that just screamed scam. They hung up on me.

Number was not answered. A partial message which was distinctly robotic was attepmting to convince me that £900 pounds worth of shopping has been done using my debit card. Would I please press 1 if this was not me. Blocked. Defo a scam.
