SCAM Recorded message announcing that the call is coming from BT because of suspicious activity on my broadband connection. Invites me to ‘press one‘ to be connected to a member of our executive otherwise the line to be cut off.I don’t have any accounts with BT. I can imagine that somebody with a BT account might be alarmed by the call which is a scam and probably malicious

Optical Express - they called as I had made an inquiry online about laser eye surgery but they rang 10 times over the space of a few days, didn t leave a message or text/email to say who they were. It really has put me off using them as I can imagine they will harass me if I do go for a consultation.

Keep ringing if you answer they keep you on phone no matter what you say , if you ask them not to phone back they still do just had my 20th phone call told them I was reporting them for harassing phone calls !!!! Rang me back with silent call and cut phone off report them !

Claimed to be from Carphone Warehouse. Could barely understand a word he was saying. I'm not a customer of Carphone Warehouse so I hung up.
Very persistent, apparently works on commission. Sounded like a nice bloke trying very hard to make some money but... beware. Obvious indian or pakistani accent but then gave a very english name. Never give personal details or commit anything on a cold call.

Welsh lad called, went through whole list of directors names that he alleged he d spoken to earlier in the year. Given that I deal with the telecoms I know this is BS. Said he would ring back; when told that the directors don t take unsolicted calls replied that it wasn t unsolicited. The bloke is an absolute weapon.
