Very suspicious, they say to be an Amazon delivers provider phone number, but I'm not waiting any parcel..., thay talk about a some relative or family..., I don't have any of them close..., this smells like a scam..., when in doubt, I don't trust...

Pretending to be BT Business Team; when I said that BT should be aware that I'm registered with the TPS (Telephone Preference Service) she then said she was with BT Openreach and reviewing my services. Completely bulsh*tting.

This claims to be from Facebook but it was just a number and the location is Manchester/Burnley - this is not how FB normally sends 2 Factor ID. Is it a scam number?

Cold-calling to do with promoting books on Amazon.com for self-published authors. I am not the person they’re trying to contact, although they have the same name. Poor research on their part. They also have my email address. It looks like a London number, but I’m not 100% convinced that it’s UK based. They referred to Amazon.com, not Amazon.co.uk. Caller had an American accent. Supposedly from '3' mobile phone company. Asian male with poor English, claiming to be from 3 promotions. Not the normal format for '3' especially as I've opted to be exempt from promotional calls on my 3 account. I've no idea how they got my number, but I'm 99.9% certain that it wasn't legitimate

Called twice. They did not leave a message. When you call back all you get in an answer phone playing music, with no message.
I couldn't tell hardly a word this character was saying. Sounded like a long distance call from India whilst he was wearing a big steel bucket on his head! I did pick one word which was "handset" at which I ended the call. My number is registered with the TPS but, as usual, that was a waste of time.
Calling on behalf of local energy company he said. Sounded real but then realised it was a recording when I asked a question and he just carried on talking, with no reaction. Had previously answered when asked who he was calling on behalf of. Brummie accent.
