Same experience as others, I was called on my Australian mobile and asked for by name. I asked who was calling and the male caller said "It's Elliot" and then hung up. Called the number back and it's an Avaya voicemail, extn 481 not available.

I have had several calls from this number every day for about a week but no one spoke. Today a woman tried to tell me that I had a virus on my computer that got worse every time I turned it on. She said she was from Windows technical and would help with the fault if turned my computer on. I told her that my son is a computer technician and also that I knew that she wasn t legitimate (I had already checked the number and found this site). She obviously hung up!

You can google them or check they are genuine by calling or logging onto the market research society's website. If you answer and ask them to remove your number. They will never call again. I receive calls from this number sometimes three times a day. My phone doesn't ring I just get text messages saying I have missed them, but I am sitting by my phone so it hasn't rung at all.
