This call came into me whilst I was in the shower. The female operator started talking immediately, I had to really raise my voice to interrupt her call whereby I explained that I could not he at her as I did not have my hearing aids in, but was in the process of trying to put them in. My expectation was that she would hold on whilst I did that. Instead with no hearable comment the phone went dead. I felt she was extremely rude, I’m disabled, had got out of the shower to answer her call & Im deaf.

Fraud - Claimed to be Tesco Bank and had some old information. Claimed attempts had been made to spend money and start a direct debit on my credit card. Asked them to call back later, meanwhile I called the bank and checked. All lies.
Called by lady claiming she was from BT. Wanted me to reset my I/p address. Claimed someone was trying to log onto my network. Was willing to talk me through settings. Said I knew how to do it. She hung up
Phoned the landline number. Picked up the phone but they just ended the call.

Claimed to be from Carphone warehouse, not convinced Carphone warehouse would employ a tele-sales person who spoke poor English though. Persisted to try to sell me an iPhone 14 even though I told him from the start I already owned one !!!! If this gentleman really was calling from Leeds and given its an obvious scam then I do worry about his right to be living in the UK.
Two unsolicited calls today. I asked who was calling as she was trying to confirm my name and status. Woman said she was ringing about government energy subsidy. When I asked again what company it was she said Just Glass. I Have seen this name mentioned adversely in other reviews. Told her this and hung up.

SCAM FRAUD Scammer claiming to be from Starling. He will try to get you to approve a high value transaction, he tried £751. I used him to check if my info actually was leaked and then I rejected the transaction and cancelled my card lol. Pretty funny call, although dangerous to those who aren’t very IT literate. I hope the lad is able to find a job soon so he can stop the scams, assuming he actually wants to stop…

I have been telephoned this afternoon – apparently by EE – to tell me that I was getting a 45% discount on my bill for the next year? I was then passed on to a supervisor to confirm my email address – which I did. Broad Indian accent, difficult to understand but the general gist I got was he wanted my details so he can save me 30-40% off my bill. Had to press for details on what bill he was saving me money on, he stammered and, almost like he was guessing, said my O2 mobile phone bill. Nobody in this house has any O2 devices so be safe - don't give these scumbags any details. Block the number, maybe work out some of your anger by screaming abuse at them as I did.
