someone claiming to be from O2 called me just now from this number. They were offering a 30% discount on all my bills until the end of my contract, asked me if I wanted to go ahead and told me I would get two text messages with a code I needed to read back to them. Usefully, the text messages were from O2 (the caller had gone into my profile and done a forgotten password which triggers the texts) but the messages said very clearly not to share the info with anyone, even if they claim to be working from O2.

He was momentarily interested in sending it to my laptop until I told him it was a work issued laptop. This number rang my landline on both 18 and 19 August. Just rang long enough to get me near the phone, but not long enough to pick up - annoying. When I rang the number (from a safe untraceable mobile) I got the recorded message 'Number not in service' ! At best it's spam - at worst it's fraud, so I'll class it as a scam.

SCAM This is a parcel spam in text form - It was asking to use the link findyourdpdpackage.com. The website no longer exists. It did a couple of months ago when I received the test. I was curious as I wasn't waiting for a package. I did not fill in any information asked for. I meant to report it at the time but forgot. I was clearing out texts when I came across it again. I want to warn about the phone number it came from.
