Automated call claiming to be from a bank fraud department with suspicious activity on a card for transactions of hundreds of pounds. No bank name was mentioned and it asked to either authorise payments or choose to speak to someone. When no choice was pressed immediately the call was ended.

someone calling from a moilbe phone company saying she could make your bill cheaper but when i said you have my details already after telling me she was from my mobile phone company she hung up , she is fishing be careful .

SCAM. Rang back and someone with an Asian accent answered my call identifying themselves with an English first name and a surname. I asked what is the nature of the call and they said it is about some kind of TRADING. I told the Asian sounding person to pimp out their family members rather than conning people.

It is a scam pretending to be O2. They got into my account and ordered an iPhone which I didn't ask for. Luckily they didn't manage to change the delivery address and I changed my password on time. O2 confirmed it is a scam.

This was an unknown number and the caller said he was my computer technician,,,,,,,,he isnt.

SPAM called today, came up as suspected spam on my mobile so I left it to go to voicemail, no message left. Suspect the warning was on the money.

We have 2 phones sending 2051 sms. Both are Nokia C21 plus and appear to have been hacked or have malware in stock ROM. Other owners of this phone are reporting the same problem. Received a payment request email from Paypal for £650 with message stating "Fraudulent activity found, amount £649.99 GBP has been debited from your account for a purchase of DECATHLON GIFT CARDS, if it's not you reach us immediately @ +44-800-368-9784". As this email was directly from PayPal, i checked my account and the request for payment was actually true, however the message on the request is false and the number is fake. This number is NOT Paypal and is a scam.

Received a text message from a number displayed as "43723". Text message reads "HSBC FRAUD ALERT: We have held a recent payment on your account for 452.00GBP to J ALIM - REF:B6JX. Please contact fraud on 03301900571 for further assistance." Probably a scam phone number.

SCAM This automated call purports to be from LLOYDS BANK FRAUD DEPT reporting fraudulent activity on a credit card, they ask you to press any number to be put in touch with their team. IT IS A SCAM The person they named left here over 9 years ago and has updated her contact details with LLOYDS each time she moved. The question I would like answered is if LLOYDS know they have detected fraudulent activity on a card, why don’t they stop it?

Any caller that doesn’t wait to be answered or starts 0843 0845 etc are scams as far as I’m concerned.
