SCAM - automated call claiming that 'Due to unauthorised use, your internet will be disconnected' and to hold on the line to speak to a call handler. Caller with Indian accent claimed to be from 'Cyber Security Dept' that deals with security issues for all the service providers including BT. Starts by asking me if I have given my password to anyone and what devices I currently have connected. After giving her some bogus answers, I put her on hold and disconnected the call after 5mins. Definitely SCAM!
Got the same message, looks like a scam then if we all got the same thing.

I m being inundated with nuisance calls, mainly international or weird numbers. Most hang up if you can t get to the phone within second. My trick, grab the phone, put it by radio or tv, you note they don t hang up then. THEN TURN THE VOL UP. If it deafens them hard luck!!

Kept being called by this telephone number I called back today to ask them to remove my number at this point they then started to go into their spiel about my car accident when I asked them to remove my number again they became rude and started to laugh at me on the telephone. UK (not sure why it comes up as Hanoi on here!) - Worldwide scam phonecall from DHL in the UK spoofing the actual DHL customer service number so it looks/sounds legit, automated Chinese voice asking you to press 9 to speak to someone regarding a parcel, then repeats the message in Chinese. This number was the one that appeared on my phone as having called me, after receiving an automated call supposedly from Visa, informing me of suspicious transactions on my account and to press 1 to accept or 2 if I did not. Later I phoned this number, using 141 beforehand so they would not know who called, and a man answered...just an "ordinary sounding guy", no mention of an office/bank/or fraud squad. I asked to speak to a random person and apologised for dailling a "wrong number"..
