Rang twice and left a message that we have been charged £95 because our prime has ran out! We don't use prime and there has no debit on our account! Suspect its a scam and haven't answered, will now block them.

This is a scam number. Claimed to be from BT Internet, ringing about other devices being connected to my BT Hub. (Rang off when asked why they thought other devices were being used without permission.)

The call was made to my landline, Telling me that there had been two payments made on my account £300 to Amazon and one other, which wasn't true cos I immediately checked with my phone Bank app and didn't listen to rest of call I just hung up.

A Asian guy called saying I have been awarded a 30% discount for being a loyal customer O2 customer. i Left O2 over a couple of years ago, so I checked the number out online while he was talking and the number was listed as a scam call, so knew it was a scam. He said he was going to pass me to customer service. I then spoke to the next Asian guy who said he would send me a message and to except it (phone malware). SCAM This is someone claiming to be someone from sky saying the router speed in my area was being checked and the engineers were making changes to speed it up. He asked me to install a support app on my phone so he could check and make changes. At no point did he use my name or go through any kind of ID process. This is a scam. BEWARE I called sky who confirmed they do not make calls like this.

Called at 17.49 this afternoon. Smartphone warned me of Suspected Spam so I did not answer. Very annoying

Irish traveller scammers, they arrived in a pair to purchase goods with a fake banking app. Used every excuse possible. Probably a burner number but blocked. Sent them away without the goods and they called back trying to “show me the reference number” and arrange a call with bank of Ireland.

Pretending to be TPS (Tenant Protection Scheme) saying about receiving a full payout. when quizzed on simple information they would have (like a name for the landlord) hung up. Scam, avoid!

Fraud This appeared to be a UK mobile number, not Russian as this site suggests. I was asked to renew my non-existent Sky TV insurance.

My Mum got scammed with a company called World IT pro saying they worked with Microsoft. They actually remote installed remote tracking software so they could see all her computer activity and charged her £300 for 'five years protection' - I called and complained and said I thought it was a scam and they refunded it (or it looks like they have - the money hasn't come back into the bank yet). They refunded my mum on the basis of what I said - did not get her authority to talk to me - SCAM

SCAM Recorded voice purporting to be HMRC

Fraud SCAM Cold call. Indian voice asks you to give long card number as some payment at some time "did not go through". I remember no such occasion with an Indian agent, and if this does happen with any other, they immediately check and enter the card number again and it does go through. I said I can't just give my card number to an unknown caller for an unknown transaction, and the agent said he would get their lawyers to deal with me. I have blocked the number.
