I once answered the phone and asked who is it and they automatically cut off. I find it strange how this is becoming the norm all of a sudden. I refuse to change my number though if you call me, I think it is only right that you introduce yourself first. Since they did not I know they have something to hide!!! I am glad to let the world know that when you see this number it is not worth picking up. Just leave it & let it ring! I wonder how much their phone call expenses are? so far these scammers have phoned me 4 days in a row, 6 on day 1, 3 times day 2, twice yesterday and so far twice today.. When they actually do speak or you hear something.. its either a recording telling you your about to be disconnected from BT and press 1 to connect to bt.. premium rate number.. or you get a indian claiming to be from bt, or they just keep saying hello before putting the phone down.

total idiots ring do not answer when you pick up phone but keep trying

I have sorted my problem with Aknica by reporting them to the TV LICENCE people on 0300 790 6137, they put me directly through to them and they could not find me on their system? It seems they had got the wrong name my surname wrong christian name so took me off their system! 5 minutes later I got a call from the same number a local number and they where asking about a road traffic accident? Somehow they are putting a local dialling code onto your phone so you pick up ????
