Silent call
I am getting many calls daily which I refuse to answer.I owed ?2. My tv licence is now up to date and is ?8 in advance but the calls continue. Its a nightmare as I am in illhealth and the calls start from 8am. This is harrassment and bullyboy tactics by tv licencing.

As comments above, he told me he was conducting a survey for the government to see how the effect of the recession were effecting people. And he asked for my name and date of birth, which I stupidly gave him !! Then asked me random questions if I had a car & what type, if it was taken out on HP, whether I d had a loan/mortgage/credit card with PPI & also where their I was financially struggling or not !! Automated message claiming to be HMRC Fraud department. Asked to go through "press 1" button routine otherwise action will be brought by HMRC.
Rang 3 times then cutoff. No message left.
Very Heavily accented caller on a poor line which I suspect originated overseas. Purporting to be from the number blocking department of my phone line provider offering to stop all the Spam phone calls I had been receiving recently. Asking for banking information. When challenged was unable to provide even basic information to me and hung up.
