SCAM E-Mail, I believe this e-mail to be a scam. Informed me that my Currys PC protection plan is up for renewal @ £499.99. The phone number that they suggest I ring to talk about the renewal or cancellation is +44 1348 881008 this on checking, is a company in Dudley, using a [email protected] address. I may be wrong but I don't have any service plans with Currys and I think their e-mail address would include some reference to currys.

this number called me at 16.54pm on my mobile, lovely indian girl called laura couldnt get out what she was saying for laughing, i then said to her to behave herself, she then hung up the phone, suspisiously not even 30secs later this number phoned 02081234648 twice within seconds of each other, but luckly my mobile blocked the second number as suspected spam, think both numbers are linked

This number is a brand new HMRC scam. Be careful. Managed to hold up their phone lines for a few hours today, but they will 100% be making more calls over the coming days and months. Don't be fooled by them.

This number is being used by Samuel wright to scam deposit to his mondo bank account, he is asking for £200 to be paid in to his account, to hold items he is selling on Facebook, this is a SCAM
03442093176 called 25Jul23 at 13:28hrs, asked for me by name, but caller unknown claiming to be calling on behalf of Nationwide, didn't give a reason for her call. Hung up with a no thank you.

SCAM received a txt message saying this was the post office, who attempted to deliver a parcel, providing name and link to contact them back. I investigated the number- registered only 2 month ago in another UK city, web site identified this number as belonging to the Russian Federation.
I am suspicious of this phone number. The man phoning spoke good English with a strong accent and was convincing. He told me he was from AV (antiviral program) and that my recent payment of £149 had not gone through. He offered me a discount policy at £29 for the next year. Re The failed bank payment, the bank itself stopped this money and when I spoke to my bank it was decided that the £149 seemed high for an anti viral program and there was a possibility of fraud. This number called my mobile then disconnected after 2 rings. I called it back and an automated voice in an irritating American accent said "Hi. Thanks for calling. Please hold while we connect you". After hearing this for 5 times in quick succession, I hung up and blocked the number. I'm guessing a spam or scam caller.
