SCAM SPAM Fraud Got a call on 21/08/2023 at 11:51 from this number. A woman was trying to tell me i have some offer from three. When i asked her if she is a scammer as i am not with three, she put down the phone instantly. When i call back the number, it just beeps two times and go off. They are scammers for sure! Be aware!
Called to offer me cheap phone and broadband services saying they can save me 50% - without knowing how little i m paying already!!!! He got very defensive when poiltely informed him i i wasn t interested, and to be honest he should have stopped at that point, but no, he just kept going on. Cold calling should be illegal as it is more often than not a form harrasement.

Just used Google enhanced search & it’s from China, telling me that they were my bank and that they’d stopped 2 payments from Amazon & an international company and I was to press my phone to acknowledge it. Obviously I didn’t! Checked directly with bank.

SCAM: Third identical scam call today. The usual ‘there has been suspicious activity on your BT line, and your line & internet will be cut off’ automated call. Press 1 to speak to someone. No thanks, especially as I do NOT have a BT line! This time the phone number was the same as my last call, apart from the last 4 digits.
Received a call from this number claiming to be Microsoft saying that they've detected a problem with my computer and asked if I can switch on my computer. I refused and challenged them; caller eventually put me onto their "supervisor" and he asked me if I understood the nature of this call from Microsoft today but I told him that I didn't believe he was and he said "OK then f**k off" and I replied "Likewise" and hung up. Claiming to be from virgin media and that they have been getting alerts from our hub and internet speed. Ask to check colour of lights on hub and to use a computer to enter an address so they can check and correct the issue. Dont logon computer or enter the address! Called 3 times in an hour different numbers and difffernt people. Checked with virgin media and its not them!
