Automated voice claiming to want to inform that my german passport number has been used for illegal activities. Wanted me to press 1 to get further information but hung up.

Its a scam and fraud
SCAM - Says is Virgin Media and that there are errors showing. Not with them.
Called today. Strong Indian accent I couldn’t understand. When I asked him to repeat it he hung up. Can only assume it’s a call centre and maybe malicious?

It was a number I was asked to text from my daughter who had lost her phone. I don’t have a daughter and msg started ‘hi mum’ I am a man. Lol

Msg said from FCA and to press one first of all I don't have enough money for the Financial Conduct Authority to contact me and secondly if they scammed my account the would receive 1.54p
Claimed to be from my bank saying we had possible fraud activity on our acct. Someone had tried to set up direct debits for aviva and netflix and other activity. Two males with scottish accents, possibly same man!
I received very threatening messages on WhatsApp from this number and a couple of phone calls.

Scammers pretending to be Avia insurance for claims
They claim to be a company that blocks unwanted marketing calls then they ask for your bank card details saying they want to deposit compensation payment into your account
SCAM claimed to be calling from Microsoft and when she realised that we weren't going to fall for her bull$h!t she got stroppy and insulting. When are they going to learn that they have been trying this scam for so long, people are getting wise to them. IDIOTS!!!!!!
