I am registered with the TPS and yet today I've had 2 Indian scam call centres pestering including what this one appears to. I rarely use landline so I just unplugged it after the second time. Absolute scam artists.

When I said I hadn't had one they said I had and then said it also applied to family members. They haven't had one either. When asked where they got my number from and that I was on the TPS they hung up.

Automated call Called by this number saying that this is a warning that some money will be taken from my account today. I have never heard of a bank that calls a person without the person calling forst so it is obviously a scam. Not sure how they scam, but I have blocked this caller now and it will be blocked forever. Just be aware and check your passwords etc on your bank details.
