First time at 8 am claiming to be Microsoft, told them in no uncertain terms not to phone again. This morning 5th Jan 7. 35, silent, slightly different number ending 171, and again at 10.32 again silent. Tried phoning back but number not available!
This number calls at least times a day. There is nobody at the end of the line and it just goes dead.

Immediate update - I got an almost immediate reply to my emails and they say that although this is a one-off £10 charge for a 12-month reminder service for which they make it clear there is a charge (hmmmm) they will process an immediate refund via the Post Office. So easy that one can only infer that they receive many, many requests per day for refunds from people such as me who are totally unaware that they had signed up. Result! I emailed [email protected]
