Insurance This number is apparently from a Company called "Review your Policy" - I have been registered for many years with the TPS register which I understand telemarketing are obliged to check every 30 days to ensure the numbers they are ringing are not on this register - the young lady calling was not interested in engaging or apologising for unwanted call.
Just had a text message from this number, claiming to be from my eldest child. Stated Hey Dad, this is my new number, my phone just broke. You can delete my old number and save this one. Automated call stating that an official letter from HMRC tax is on route to me and legal action is being taken. Asks you to press 1 to speak to an official representative. Got to be a scam, I'm employed by the NHS and all my tax & National insurance is sorted by them. Blocked the number, I'll worry when the "official letter" turns up!

Contacted from this number by automated contact stating it was ‘bank security’ advising I had money taken from my account and asking me to press a number to speak to someone. Did not feel it was genuine at all.

I had a call from this number yesterday the caller said he was from British Gas to arrange a service I wasnt convinced that he was genuine and I asked him how I could be sure that he was from British Gas he immediately hung up Although this is a genuine BG number scammers can mimic numbers to make it look like the call is legitimate I will log into my British Gas account when I want to book my HomeCare service
