Just had a call from 01204329378, a chap saying they were the National Advice Service. The said my name and asked if I worked in the industrial sector and if I d ever had any problems with my hearing? I replied..."Pardon?". He asked if I d ever had any problems with my hearing regarding loud equipment? I replied..."Pardon?". He hung up.

Was polite saying is this (then my name) telling me about who he was and that hes a debt advisor, asked me whether i had any debts. said no don t have any then he said he would take me off the database and goodbye.

Received a call from this number today. The woman said she was calling from a children s charity - possibly tubs . I politely said we were not interested and she rather aggressively replied that I didn t know why she was calling. I told her not to get shirty with me and put the phone down. It may have been a legitiment call but we receive a lot of scam calls also and I didn t like the tone of her reply after I had been polite to her.

Called offering energy savings, tried to get current contract details etc, told him not interested, and that I didn t give him consent to use our personal details for marketing calls, he refused to delete details from his database without speaking to the managing director. Think he s in lala land! He s also in breach of GDPR. As if I would put him through to the MD when I deal with the energy supply to the business! I had dealings with retail merchant services last year. Their salesman lied about contracts and fees and altered paperwork after I had signed it. It very nearly cost me £4000, luckily I threatened them with a police case for fraud and they left me alone until now and they are trying to sell me their machines again. Google retail merchant services complaints and then stay well clear.
