I've had two calls from Burnside Plant which I didn't answer, using this number and a different number and hour later. No idea who they are or what they could possibly want. Sounds dodgy. I'm in Scotland.

I would urge anyone receiving calls from this number to report their experience to Action Fraud and Ofcom. This number belongs to a company called Allclaim Solutions, but they might call themselves ACS. They target the elderly and vulnerable and their main objective is to obtain bank details for anything from insurance for washing machines to rebates for Council Tax. It s a complete scam. This number did not stop call me. Annoying cool calls claiming that I hit my car and they will cover the reparation cost.

They called and asked if I had a credit card with Barclays and that they wanted to fill in some kind of insurance claim. I told them where to get off.

Apparently my phone has been selected for a ?2,000,000 prize. To good to be true? Absolutely - bin it.

Automated call claiming to be from HMRC due to fraud on 'my account' with the threat of immediately being arrested if I didn't continue with the automated call - hung up as I find this highly unlikely.
