I'm an individual counsellor and this person 'Jack' texted me during my Christmas holiday. He pretended to be a client at first, and I responded in case he was a potential client in need. He then attempted to sell me his "automated systems to attract more counselling clients". I hate spammers who prey on therapists' good natures, and who disrespect our vacation boundaries. Claimed to be from o2, managed to send me an activation code from my actual O2 account then asked me to give him the number despite the message saying I shouldn’t. Clearly a scam, do not give them any details.

Messaged to inform me of a delivery I missed from EVRI. With a link to re-book a delivery time. I went to the official website to track my delivery, and the number on the message that the suspected scammer gave is not recognised. Also I checked my CCTV and no-one had tried to deliver anything.

Called on my mobile, automated voice saying they are from my bank but didn't mention Which one saying they'd noticed large amounts coming out of my visa account. As I don't have a visa card I knew It was a scam. It was quite believable though. I might have pressed 1 as instructed
They say they can do me an IPhone 13 for £10 less than the deal I have at the moment on an IPhone 12. Never trust a cold call... Sounded like a call centre of some sort as noise in background. Could have easily been from abroad as the womans english wasnt great and the call went silent after she had spoken. anyway...

Call received 07.58 on a Saturday morning. They spoke and when I answered they immediately hung up.
