Received a call stating from British Gas with regards to my boiler cover. Advised that I will be covered for £22 a month and asked for my sortcode and account number. They also advised that if I had any issues with my boiler I should call the freephone number which was 01202 138 752. When I advised them that I work for British Gas Services which I do they hung up. Called and left a message - wishing to discuss my domestic appliance insurance. These calls are at best unwanted Spam and at worst a Scam. Caller said would ring back - I've blocked the number - so will not get bothered again.

Guy with a thick Indian accent called my work asking for the "person in charge of our website". I said he wasnt here and asked if I could take a message and he said his name was Alexis and he was calling from SEO. Obviously a scam call.

Fraud. Got a text supposedly from GOV.UK with an https// click-in, advising me that they have identified me as being eligible for a discounted energy bill under the energy bill support scheme. Mmmm how did they know my number? why didn't I get an official letter/mmmm. No surprise really it's a fraud scam, the government doesn't text you to tell you they are giving you money,and as far as I know will never do this anyway. Why aren't they traced and shut down?

Claimed to be from Vodafone. Said a SIM swap had been requested and wanted to check this was correct. I said it was not correct. He then said he suspected my account had been hacked and that he would sent an SMS with a code which I had to read to him. The SMS came from Vodafone and had a code with text reading 'this code gives access to your account, do not share it'. The caller was a scammer and wanted access to my account. I hung up.
