SCAM Message popped up on my laptop stating that it was in danger of being hacked and had been temporarily blocked. The error message suggested I called a helpline (number stated 020) said to be Microsoft Security. I rang, lady answered (Indian/pakistan accent) lots of noise in the background, she wanted me to depress the windows and the letter R key on my laptop. was evasive when I asked what would happen. Had a few calls from this number recently. a recorded message saying according to their records we re paying too much for electricity press 2 for details. i didn t press 2 as i use comparison sites to check this sort of info.
