Easy to get rid of unwanted/unknown calls. I hold a PPL (Private Pilots Licence) so I just tell em I m at 3000ft and can t answer. They don t realise most of the time I m in my car actually!! I have threatened to report them to Air Traffic Control...

Artificial voice claiming HMRC Fraud case in your name press 1 if you don t a warrant will be issued in your name etc ...

The number they called is for an organisation with thousands of employees and the number they called is not for any individual. total time wasters hung up when i asked for info.. call them for a laugh and put 141 infront of your dialing number. then pretned to be Chris Earle from Verastar! they get well annoyed.. made me laugh!

I ve had 20+ calls with no messages. Very aggressive sales guy regarding a loan from 2009. I have had no loans!

I spoke to someone at Homebase yesterday and they said that I would be asked to take part in a customer service survey, so I assume this is what this call was about. You can opt out by pressing 9, or just ignore the call and block the number as I did.

These nuisance calls are from criminal parasites. BT run the lines and presumably receive rent or payment for access to the network. Are they benifitting from criminal activity....
