Automated voice message re PPI claims

Seems to be Scottish Power, according to reports on other sites.

NEVER call and unknown caller back. You may be calling a Premium Rate or International number which will add a very large charge to your bill.

Called this number back and got a pre-recorded message saying I'm todays lucky winner of £1000 or an iPad at which point I hung up and blocked the number!

Just received a call from this number now. A guy called James was the caller and said he was calling on behalf of my bank as I had apparently been in contact with them, which I haven t and he had my name also. It sounded like he was giggling and chuckling whilst he was reading out his spiel so I hung up. Will be keeping an eye out for this number calling again so I won t pick up.

Does not tie in with any published Natwest numbers on their website though so I'm not calling it.

This number just rings leaves no message and expects you to ring them back. Don't know who it's is as I never rang back.

So fed up with my phone buzzing re these calls. Have blocked it but phone informs me when they ring. Also my 97 yo dad is getting them. Now that does make me angry!!!!

I answered this call as it appeared to be a mobile number. Suspect it was spoofing it s real number. Caller knew my late father s name, wanted to do a 60 second survey. I kept telling him that father wasn t here any more, and that I was moving shortly, but he kept asking questions about how old my washing machine was. I hung up.

It s frightening scam saying I ve committed tax fraud and owe them 2200 pounds. Pay now or face arrest court extra fees up to 29000 pounds. Identified himself as Ken Nolan with warrant number etc. Sounded foreign but convincing.

Had 2 missed calls from this number. Called back and they Said it was an accident claim company. Didn't catch the name. Strange but the phone didn't ring they just pic...

Called at 8am - really?! Have had a raft of calls this morning from new numbers, not had any for a few weeks so here we go again. Hung up with no message

Called again. Since this site offers no assistance on who this belongs to, let me fill in the blanks. RENEWABLE SOLUTIONS TEAM LTD in Leigh. Director is a Mr JAMES MCLAUGHLIN, born Feb 1972. Maybe we should give him a call or drop him an email? He is also director of ELECTRICAL SOLUTIONS TEAM LTD and ONE NATION ENERGY LTD.

Just had a call from this number. A man called Daniel started to waffle about interest and stuff, I asked whether this was about PPI? He said it was about insurance and the interest and carried on talking about it, I asked him once again whether it was PPI. He admitted it was, I said I didn t have any, and he (rather arse-ily) said "Well, how would you know!? It s embedded in the insurance!" I said "Because I ve never had a mortgage, I ve never had a credit card and I ve never had a loan" He hung up.

Very rude, aggressive and annoying callers. Similar to most comments above. They ve hung up on me twice now when I ask them what they want. I run my own photography business and they seem to be trying to sell advertising. It seems to be an Oxfordshire number, with very strong Indian and sometimes west African accents. Block and don t trust these people.

Advantis Debt Collection, keep harassing me with different numbers, to try phish for info. I know for a fact I DO NOT HAVE ANY OUTSTANDING DEBT, so im ignoring their calls, they can do one.

Unknown as I didn't answer, but it came shortly after another one purporting to be from Dunfermline, so my guess is spam.
