The caller said a new store was being set up in the town and they wanted to send me discount vouchers for either cutting hot water bill or heating bill. When I asked about for more information he mentioned something about the 50+ age range. I told him we are ex-directory so how did he get the number. He said something about UK database and I said I didn t deal with cold calls and he rang off.

A south african lady left a message with a colleague that she needed to talk to me about a private financial matter. When I returned the call, she was unable to tell me where she got my details from as her info was incorrect. Spoke to her manager Luke Taylor who was also unable to tell me where they got my details. This number calls daily asking if you have had an accident and talking very inappropriately, it is a scam and a big annoyance

Silent calls are made once or twice daily. My answer-phone states "the caller has cleared", and normally the number is withheld, but not on this and a previous occasion. The pattern of the calls makes me think it is the same caller, [for many months]. The TPS advise it may be silent or abandoned calls,or recorded calls.

I am local to Wrexham and have recently had 4 local numbers that have called me whose numbers I don t recognize so have left the calls go to answer phone but shortly after my answer phone message starts, they hang up. Companies have got clever because they know if they say PPI upfront, no-one will talk to them! These guys say: "Money Save - in a response to a survey you filled in and expressed an interest in financial products"! Well I may have completed a survey but I certainly did not express an interest in anything! It was then she said they were saving us money by helping to claim compensation, "previously known as PPI." !

Had two calls from this number today and they asked for one of the directors by name. I spoke to this director and he said to take a message. The guy from this company (Alan from the Surveyors Office)said that he would try later. I said he would be better leaving a message as I didn t think the call was for this particular person. He said, "is he the Director?" and I said that he was one of them and he said that it was definitely him he had to speak to. Very rude, you can try all you like mate but you a
