03726945413 Claiming to be from SKY asking if We’d shared our router information with anyone else (as we use NOW TV which is part of SKY I listened) and then they asked me how many lights were flashing on my router ( there was one light flashing and this made me suspicious so I hung up). It may be nothing but better to be safe.

I was called at about 11.35 am today with a recorded message saying that my card had been used to pay £700+ on Amazon and £2000 international money transfer, asking me to press 1 to speak to someone, which I did not do. I strongly suspect that this is a scam.

They did say I needed to make a payment and to answer emails. The idea is to ask you to download remote desktop software to gain access to your computer, then attempt to bamboozle you with made up technical nonsense whilst in the background they copy your files and internet settings in the hope that yo have stored online banking credentials.
