This number rang on 09/03/23. When I answered, the call just ended. This number rang again on 10/03/23. The caller had a South Asian accent, knew my name and enquired about the car accident I'd had. I responded that this would be the car accident I hadn't had and told him to stop wasting my time. There was a fairly insincere 'apology' that he'd been given the incorrect details.

25/04/2023 Call from this number. Claiming to be Barclays Bank, very poshly spoken female telling me fraudulent activity on my account etc. kept them busy answering my questions, until they put down the phone. Quite sophisticated scam - beware

I did not speak when answering call as I did not recognise the number, caller terminated the call without speaking, obviously another phishing scam.

Coronavirus - this is a scammer making fraud calls under the pretence of calling on behalf of the health service doing market research. Under MRS T&C a company is obliged to reveal the name of the company hes calling from and this guy didnt want to do that. It is some coward sitting at home making false calls, harassing people, he should come out of his phone face-to-face and then i will show him how to hide behind the phone and harass people.

Called with message about unauthorized payment from my debit card, if it wasn't you press 1. I did out of interest. Spoke with a man with Indian accent. He knew my name and surname which is highly unnerving. He said a payment of £900 and something pounds had been taken from my debit card. I replied "oh no, it wasn't me, can you help me?". He said yes, he needed some information. I asked which bank debit card? He said Amazon then hung up. Seriously!
SCAM txt message from this number. Advising me I’ve been in close contact with someone who has recently tested positive. Please order a test kit: with a web address. (Doesn’t even say positive for what) Fools! I attempted to look up the web address on my iPad and it came up as non existent. Presumably they would have tried to make me pay for them.

Woman called. Said my loft insulation didnt pass, as after a study by the British Lung Foundation found that it could be an irritant and did I want a loft inspection. Told her the house was only four years old. I asked her to identify herself. Said that she worked for loads of eco companies, so I said I trust no one and could she send me an email. She then hung up.

Phoned at 5.30pm on a Saturday. No one on the other end so blocked the number probably a scam.

This is a scam. Told I owed money ($4000) form a credit card I had from 2010 to 2016. Would not give me proof of the debt. I never had a credit card during that time period. Said they are going to try to take $8400 from my bank account by serving papers to the county clerk that is in my county. I spoke to a couple of attorneys which said it sounds like a scam. An Indian sounding gentleman on a very bad line, claimed to be calling me from Currys PCWorld with a promotion to upgrade my cellphone (his term) for no charge, could I just confirm what phone I currently had? As I do not have a mobile contract through Currys PCWorld I knew this was a scam call and hung up.
Internet Provider... illegal activity detected, press 1 or 2 etc. Clearly a scam. Avoid and don't press any buttons!
