Brechin (Scotland) cloned number allegedly from 02. A scam offering 40% off your O2 account. - I know it is a 100% scam as (a) I have had one of these calls before and (b) I ceased to be an O2 customer 4 years ago. Suspect someone hacked their site or an ex-employee has flogged their data to scammers. Foreign guy said he'd send a special code in a text/email but to not divulge it to anyone - probably because everyone gets the same and they don't want you to compare notes!

I got a call from this number today, 06/03/2023, from someone claiming to be from Vodafone, I was offered a 20% discount for the last 12 months of my contract. When they asked for my name and address I ended the call. They had a strong Indian accent. I contacted Vodafone who confirmed is was a fraud.

this number has used to phone my landline number several times over the past few months. it is automatically blocked by my phone system but today i decided to phone the number from my mobile phone. the number did not engage and dropped out almost immmediately.

I got a call from this number saying they were amazon and someone had purchase a £300 phone on my account. When I told him to cancel it he asked me to log on to my playstore account. When I said to him it was a scam and that I was not stupid he swore at me and ended the call

Message also suggest the you ring back to speak to an operator with the company, again not named, if you need further help or information. I suggest you DO NOT do this.

Automated call - said there was suspicious activity in my account which is when I hung up and checked my account which was fine so I think this was a SCAM. If there had been something untoward with my account, my bank would have called me with a real person not an automated version. 17/08/22

I was caught out by this today. They claimed to be calling from O2. Luckily, I realised after the call ended and was able to change my account details before any damage was done. The scammers knew all of my details - full name, address, email address, how much I'm billed each month - even my security question. They were very convincing. I was called today by this number. They said they were calling about my internet speed. They couldn't give me my account number but knew my name and address. I said I would call my internet provider myself so they hung up on me..I treat all these type of phone calls as a scam..

01709242673 called me since 17th march no calls between 1819 but calls 2x a day every day since any time between 11amnoon and then 4pm onwards Ive rejected many of the calls and they dont get the hint Next time Ill be answering and giving them a piece of my mind Whatever is so important cant seemingly be told to me via a voicemail Jokes
