Was waiting for a call, so answered the landline. Asian gent, very strong accent, asking for my husband. Repeatedly told him he wasn t available, asked him which company was calling and to remove my number from their list as I was registered with TPS(useless, I know!). I had a letter from Bluestone Credit Management (or so I thought), the other day. I am now thinking it could be a scam letter because when I did some checking on the internet the phone number (01142 317 413), on the letter was completely different then the phone number given on Bluestone’s internet site. I am now going to forward a copy of the letter to HMRC to see if they can confirm if it is fake.
