I had a phone call from 02922229992 clalming to be Eon, who asked if I wanted a 'Smart meter', they wanted my account details.... RED FLAG!!!!! Eon SHOULD have my account details - well, they certainly had my phone number. I contacted Eon and they told me to block the number it wan't them....! To be hones't I wondered if this was some dirty trick Eon had dreamed up - how would THEY know I had no Smart meter..... and how did they get my phone number, no prizes for guessing sorry. Appears to be a scam premium number. Got charged over £11.

Said they were Mcafee support, handling issue relating to our home "network" which would mean all devices using network (he meant router) would shortly become infected and stop working. Wanted £200 to fix, as our Mcafee didn't cover "network". Said we'd call back and given this number. Subsequently checked with Currys who support some of our tech who confirmed it's a scam

I asked her for the error numbers and how did they know and my husband was to blame for using naughty sites - she rang off, saying that I could chose to believe or not.

Ethnic gentalman offering Medic alarm personal system for free when challenged suddly came up as only £39. 00p per month for 1st 6 months (Not exactly free) try to confuse me with medical science I am a retired Paramedic so when I presented some possible medical situations using medical words the phone went silent. DO NOT fall for this as the system he was offering is free under NHS for vulnerable.

Apparently I was due to compensation £££m having been conned by Mecedes about emissions. Told him I had seven Mercs, was a little busy and could he just put the money into a plain envelope and leave it underneath a bench at Fenchhurch Street station without passing GO, and I would have my butler pick it up later. He cut me off without confirming. The number is now blocked. Sense a potential scam.

TAXES / HMRC Received a recorded message from female with American accent, (similar voice to many other recorded calls threatening legal action). It purported to be from HMRC and legal proceedings have been instituted against me. Told me to press button 1 for further information. This is DANGEROUS THREATENING BOGUS CALL. DO NOT PRESS BUTTON 1 AS IT ALLOWS CALLER ACCESS TO YOUR PHONE.

Indian woman, mentioned something in garbled broken english about BT my provider, so i said no and then she said it is something to do with server connection, told them to go scam some one else,. utter shit from scammers, if i knew where they were i would deal with them in a manner they wouldnt like...Utter scumbags, one day they will get their cummuppence

Called to say as I had not claimed under my boiler insurance my premiums were being reduced. As I don’t have my boiler insured presume this is a scam.

This number called Saturday 4th March early to say they were calling on behalf of amazon they were trying to stop our amazon account being hacked and our credit cards charged. Short story they are scammers trying to release you of your funds. They then continue with mobile phone numbers after this point. Be extremely careful when answering this number.
