01794399253 called my landline on Thursday 13 July and a recorded message advised me that money had been transferred from my account and to key 1 to sort it. 01794 is a Romsey UK number as is my number so I assumed it was local. I did not continue with the call. It was the same as other messages that I have received recently mentioned Amazon. How do scammers phone from local numbers?

Fraud. Got a text supposedly from GOV.UK with an https// click-in, advising me that they have identified me as being eligible for a discounted energy bill under the energy bill support scheme. Mmmm how did they know my number? why didn't I get an official letter/mmmm. No surprise really it's a fraud scam, the government doesn't text you to tell you they are giving you money,and as far as I know will never do this anyway. Why aren't they traced and shut down?

SCAM I received an automated call from this number on my house phone, claiming to be informing me of an irregular payment on my credit card for the amount of £1,100 and also suspect activity on Amazon. My bank does not contact me on this number and I don't deal with Amazon. I hung up immediately and did not listen further.

When I asked how do I know they are Revolut, they said I can check number at the back of the card. Go and learn about the Indian national industry on Youtube by watching Jim Browning, or Pierogi, or Scammer payback, then when you've gained some knowledge, tell all your friends and family in order to help them not lose money. This number is apparently from Indiq, it sent me a random job enquiry thing about some sort of pretty high paying jobs saying I’ll get paid in pounds. No clue who this is but this is the second message similar to this that I’ve received recently.
