SCAM TAXES / HMRC SCAM Claiming to obtain me money from HMRC totally arrogant and rude when called out Certainly not a genuine business!

SCAM - initial recording warned my electric was going to be shut off in a few minutes. When I transferred to a "representative" it was what sounded like an Indian man. He asked my name and verified my address. Funny thing is, my electric bill is in a family members name. He told me the "balance" and the amount was incorrect because I have my bill in front of me and an a real call wouldn't give me info since the account isn't in my name without other info. The organisation using this number are expert scammers. They already had my o2 mobile phone number, contract account number and asked me to confirm my address before offering a discount on my tariff. I was aware it was a scam and played dumb for a while until they sent me the text which would have given them full access to my account had I replied to it. After wasting their time for 10 minutes, I told them I knew they were scammers and they became very abusive, then misscalled my number around 20 times

This was from a rude and abusive man with very poor English who claimed he was from carphone warehouse and when I said I wasn't interested he said he was also a police officer and was going to find out where I lived and beat me up, he was screaming abuse at me. This was entirely unprovoked as I am a very polite pensioner who never shouts and swears, I would recommend everyone to do as I have done and block this number.

02394352784 called 26 may 23 at 08:14 hrs..... Male caller said his records showed my property roof insulation was old sub-standard material and should be replaced to improve efficiency. Told the caller his records were out of date as they were the last time he called.... so I don't think we have anything to discus. Hung up. Last previous call was from 02394352784 26 April 23 at 0832hrs.

I had a phone call re banking and I think this is a scam

Automated voice call from this number on Tues 27th June regarding a "transfer from my account in the sum of £1000+ and a transaction to Amazon in the sum of £300+" and I was invited to press button 1 to authorise both transactions which I obviously did not do. There was no description of which "account" involved in either the transfer or the Amazon transaction. Checking all accounts confirms NO cash transfer and NO transaction with Amazon.

Call center Claimed to be from Curry's pc world asking what phone and contract I had. Asked him how he got my number as I don't give my number out to anyone apart from family and work and he immediately hung up. Be wary.

Call centre sounds in background. Thick Asian accent introduced call as UK Health Survey. Clearly a scam so hung up

Fake Post Office, missed delivery scam text. Website link they give is not an official Post Office site, likely trying to steal your credit card info.

Received a letter supposedly from Thames water with this number - the person it was sent to was never the account holder and it looks like this is a scam

Suspicious automated 'bank fraud' call which does not identify which bank it is calling from but alledges you have 'suspicious activity' on your bank account - AVOID / BLOCK this number!
