This number has called frequently recently thought it was local so answered. It was a international call centre, said I had missed a call and they said they were lawyers had I had an accident. I said no thanks and put phone down. Very annoying as they keep calling!

Well this is some landline from Manchester area, I couldn't find any info for this specific number, but there are two facts : people do search for this number which can be seen from different similar pages, and there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated, all the same 016176801xx) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. Probably calling with different offers for different comapnies, but for sure some general call centre. People did someone answer it?
Call from this number claiming to be from BT saying someone has used my internet for an illegal money transfer and they had stopped my internet and I had to reply by pressing 1 on my phone Ha Ha Ha !!!!
