Scammers: Call from what sounded like an Indian call centre telling me I was going to get a 40% discount on my O2 bill.

Automated voice telling me there were charges to my account. One from amazon and one an international money transfer. I could press 1 to allow or 2 to speak to someone about it. LOAD OF RUBBISH, TOTAL SCAM JUST LOOKING FOR PERSONAL DETAILS AND BANK DETAILS. DO NOT ENGAGE WITH THIS NUMBER.

This number called me at 7:36 am on a Monday morning! I'm a retired person so I don't get up before the sun and at 7:36 am the sun is still in bed in Greater Manchester. I did jump out of bed but didn't pick up as I didn't recognise the number. Apparently the call originated in Thanet which Google tells me is in Kent. As I know of no reason why someone from Thanet (which I'd never even heard of) should phone me at an ungodly time of day I can only assume this was a scam call.

He calls himself Dr. Paul Wilson (the same name on Facebook). He is using others’ pictures as his identity and send messages. Become friends and then asks for money. Be careful.

This number is from scammers in Birmingham wanting your bank details to repay you home appliance warranty overpayments that do not exist. Usually get three to four calls per week from same people using different numbers. They tell you that you have overpaid and they are from the refund department and can only pay your refund directly into your bank account DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY DETAILS. After applying for a loan this company rang me multiple times a day i asked them to call me back after 6pm the first time as i was working and did want to see if they could help me but the I had 7 calls off the in 3 hours NOT one after the time I said I could answer, the following day the same company different number rang me 13 times between 10 am and 4:30 pm so i blocked those numbers, the following day i had a further 14 missed calls from this company off another 5 numbers. So far I am I up to 14 number

Lengthy call from man with odd accent - maybe African pretending to be American. Said he had $30,000 of bitcoin to send to me from scammers who had used my ID. I don't trust him, found him hard to understand and I eventually hung up. Seemed dodgy to me.

They rang us up claiming there was a money withdrawal from one of my parents' bank cards or £8000, even though after checking no withdrawals were made.

The man has an Asian accent and says that because I have not had any call outs for my heating within the last year they are going to reduce my monthly payments to £24.99 and then puts me onto his manager to sort out the paper work, etc. The manager comes on, he also has an Asian accent and says just to clarify things to give him my Bank sort code number. I immediately said no and hung up. definitely a scam, please do not give them any information regarding your bank details.

Recorded voice telling of £300 and £1000 having been taken from our bank account, one relating to Amazon. They asked for button pressing, which led to us hanging up.
