Phone pretending to be from E-on wanting to know who our new supplier was, but as E-on already know that he was clearly a scammer just fishing for information. A very aggressive foreign man who thought if he repeatedly demand information we would give it to him. Googled his number whilst he was on the line and numerous reports of him being a scammer and not E-on. Called asking for non-executive Director by name - "it s Johnny from the surveyors at Altus" were the words he used. I walked through to our Director and used the same words. Our Director said he won t take the call as he has no ongoing business with Altus and no imminent need. I returned to Johnny and advised this, to which he said "did you tell him it s a financial matter?". I responded, "No, because you didn t say it was. But he won t take the call". This is the first call from this number, it s a premium rate number, if the call is important they would leave a voicemail but they didn t, it s possible it s for ppi or some other cold caller, if it calls again I will block it but won t answer it.
