When I said I wouldn t give her any personal information without making sure she actually was from Vodafone, she offered to send me a text message to confirm (which Vodafone has never done). The text message came from 08700700191, which is not where my Vodafone texts normally from.

I have been receiving several calls a week from this number to my mobile phone, home number and office number. They either say they are from "Trading Banks" or a market research company in Taiwan. Been called a couple of times from this number claiming I have money owed to me from a third party in my last crash. There was no third party involved, only myself, yet they keep on ringing and telling me this (presumably they want my bank details). When I explain that they are totally in the wrong and there is no money owed to me they have become VERY RUDE. i never answer calls I cant identify but I sometimes look them up on this site. this looked like a normal number so I nearly answered but thank goodness I did not. no one needs telemarketing calls.

Seem to have now blocked 0843 980 12xx where xx so far is anywhere between 01 to 51 - 47 just the latest. Last time i answered it from one of these numbers there was nobody there. Wonder if phone numbers of the call centre staff are also on their autocall list.
