Then they ask you to check your bank account and lo and behold someone has taken money from your account. In the next few minutes they show you that you have been credited with a large amount of money. This is to say thank you for helping them track scammers. Claiming to be novuna finance Company they have managed to scam my daughter in law and son out of £329 saying they had to pay this for credit check and insurance it's only till they asked them to send £150 via an argos gift card they realised it's a scam and now they have lost all their money I spoke to novuna finance the ligit company while they was on phone and they said it was a scam and with that the scammer hung up and now can't get hold of them

Such lazy scammers - they use the same numbers each time. Basically if you receive a call from a Bolton code eg 01204 and you don;t live in Bolton or know someone who lives in Bolton, just ignore and block. It will just be these lazy evil scammers. Sometimes they claim to be TalkTalk, another time they claim to be 'National Debt Resolution'. They are totally useless - they are even rude the moment you answer, and can't even manage to sound even briefly plausible or professional. Evil fools - the worst.

This call came in on my landline, if I don't recognise the number I let the answerphone pick up. A recording told me that my Internet was going to be switched off and to press 1 to speak to someone. This is an obvious scam as they didn't mention the name of my ISP. They would only communicate be email. People would panic if they received this and possibly get caught out.

SCAM: Someone called me to tell me that I had a certain amount of Bitcoin somewhere in an online wallet. When I did not respond the way she expected, she terminated the call.
